"The creative process is a dialogue between intention and intuition, where every gesture finds its place on the linen."
My practice is an inquiry into pure form, where primary color meets the tactile tension of three-dimensional geometry.
Ivonne Coccaglio is an architect and contemporary artist whose practice exists at the intersection of structural logic and emotional resonance. Educated in the rigorous architectural traditions of Milan and the fine arts in Brescia, her work is a dialogue between the precision of the built environment and the fluidity of light and color.
Approaching the canvas as a spatial frontier, Ivonne translates geometric archetypes into tactile experiences. Her signature style — a fusion of primary palettes, 2D planes, and hand-molded 3D elements — reflects a career-long fascination with how form occupies space. Each piece is an architectural problem solved through restraint, where minimalist geometry meets the raw honesty of materiality.
Based in Ireland, Ivonne's influence extends beyond the studio into the core of the arts community. She serves as the Chair of the RIAI Southern Region and as a Non-Executive Director of the Lavit Gallery in Cork, where her work has also been exhibited. Her practice is a testament to the pursuit of quiet elegance, structural clarity, and the profound stillness found within the primary form.
